Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in problem solving abilities using the Double Loop Problem Solving learning model at UPT SMP 2 Sutojayan class VII. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). In this study to measure student learning outcomes by holding a written test at the end. Student learning outcomes are grouped into 2 parts, namely above the KKM score and below the KKM score. The subjects in this study consisted of 32 students with 16 male students and 16 female students. From the results of the final test of 32 students in class VII D, there were 29 students who had completed their studies or whose grades exceeded the predetermined KKM, namely ≥ 75. Meanwhile, the remaining 3 students had not completed their studies. Thus the presentation of students whose scores were above the KKM was 90.6% and the presentation of students whose scores were below the KKM was 9.4%, judging from the presentation, this research was successful. Keywords: double loop problem solving, mathematics learning outcomes, equality.
