Abstract

Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di lembaga pendidikan formal sejalan dengan prioritas pendidikan nasional, hal ini dapat dicermati dalam Standar Kompetensi Lulusan pada setiap jenjang pendidikan. Pendidikan Karakter merupakan upaya terencana menjadikan peserta didik berprilaku sebagai insan kamil. Pendidikan karakter tidak sekedar menjadikan peserta didik mengetahui nilai-nilai karakter, melainkan juga harus dapat mengimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Untuk itu supaya pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah berjalan efektif perlu melibatkan peran serta siswa, guru, kepala sekolah dan tenaga non pendidik di sekolah secara bersama. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, lembaga pendidikan formal Abstract: Implementation of character education in formal education institution runs along with national education priority. It can be seen in graduate standard competency in every education level. Character education is a planned program to train learners to be perfect people. Character education does not only make learners understand about character values but also they can implement it in their daily life. Therefore to implement character education in school effectively, we need unity role of learners, teachers, headmaster and school staffs. Key words: character building, formal education institution
