Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah dapat mening-katkan penguasaan materi aturan sinus dan cosinus pada mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Blitar Ta-hun akademik 2009/2010. Dari hasil pengamatan penelitian, mahasiswa cukup aktif dan antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Hal tersebut terbukti pada saat diskusi kelompok, dan antusias pe-serta didik mau bertanya saat menemui kesulitan. Aktivitas mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis masalah di kegiatan pembelajaran I mendapat skor rata-rata 35,6 (kategori baik) se-dangkan aktivitas peneliti 51,7 (kategori cukup baik) dan hasil evaluasi I terdapat 6 mahasiswa yang belum tuntas, prosentase secara klasikal yaitu 82%. Aktivitas mahasiswa pada pembela¬jaran berbasis masalah di kegiatan pembelajaran II mendapat skor rata-rata 39,78 ( kategori sangat baik) sedangkan aktivitas peneliti mendapat skor 66,34 dan hasil tes evaluasi II menya-takan bahwa 1 orang dari 32 mahasiswa tidak tuntas mengikuti ulangan atau prosentase secara klasikal adalah 96,88%. Berdasarkan data tersebut, tujuan pembelajaran berbasis masalah yaitu meningkatkan penguasaan materi aturan sinus dan cosinus dapat tercapai. From the observation of the study, students are quite active and enthusiastic in following activities. This is evident in the discussion groups, and enthusiastic learners want to ask when having difficulties. Student activities in problem-based learning in the learning activities I got an average score of 35.6 (both categories), while the activities of researchers 51.7 (category quite well) and the evaluation results I have six students who have not been completed, namely 82 percent in the classical style, 25%. Student activities on problem-based learning in the learning activities II received an average score of 39.78 (very good category) while the activities of researchers got a score of 66.34 and evaluation of test results II states that a person of 32 students did not complete the quiz or the percentage of Classical is 96.88%. Based on these data, problem-based learning objectives, namely increasing mastery of The Law of Sines And Cosines can be achieved. Keywords: problem based learning, students
