Abstract

The objective of Civic Education is to yield good citizens, to make intelligent citizens intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually. The new paradigm of civic education develop democracy to yield civic intelligence, to guide civic responsibility, to create civic participation. In this case Civic Education must develop audio visual material, Case Studies, Community resource persons, cooperative learning, debate poll, interviews, and surveys, mock materials, role play, and simulation of writing of letters to public of officials. The learning strategies orients on field psychology and is based on portofolio. Key words: new Paradigm, Civic Education
