IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN QUESTIONING & CLARYFYING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN MATAKULIAH GEOMETRI TRANSFORMASI

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran di Perguruan Tinggi menuntut mahasiswa untuk memahami konsep-konsep dasar matematika. Salah satu materi dalam geometri transformasi adalah konsep refleksi. Dalam materi tersebut, siswa cenderung belajar menghafal rumus dan mereka tidak mampu dalam pemecahan masalah. Implementasi pembelajaran questioning& clarifying, mahasiswa menyusun pertanyaan dan menyusun jawaban/klarifikasi terhadap jawaban tersebut dalam kelompok kecil. Setelah itu hasil questioning& clarifying dipresentasikan di kelas, dosen dalam proses belajar ini hanya sebagai fasilitator. Kata kunci: pembelajaran, konsep refleksi, questioning, claryfying, mahasiswa Abstract: Learning in Higher Education requires students to understand the basic concepts of mathematics. One of the materials in the geometry transformation is the concept of reflection. In these materials, students tend to learn to memorize formulas and they are not capable of solving the problem. Questioning and clarifying the implementation of learning, students formulate questions and prepare answers/clarifications on the answers in small groups. After questioning and clarifying the results presented in the classroom, teachers in the learning process is just as facilitator.
