IMPLEMENTASI TEORI BELAJAR GAGNE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of learning theory Gagne. This study uses a qualitative research approach to examine the reasons for students’ natural state when the application of learning theory to learn Gagne. Qualitative because the data used in the form of verbal data. This approach is directed at the background and the individual in a holistic or comprehensive regarding all activities carried out both researchers and the object under study. From the results of the data analysis of student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of the first cycle can be seen that the number of students who pass the study were 22 students (70.96% ) and the second cycle the number of students who pass the study increased to 27 students (87.096% ) and meet the completeness classical 85%. The results of the evaluation at the end of the cycle showed a 10.2% increase. While based on the observation of the learning activities undertaken by students in the first cycle and achieve a score of 65.9% in the second cycle to 75%. This is an increase in the amount of 6.5% and a fall into either category. For the results sheet observations made by researchers in the second cycle is going well has achieved an increase of 6.84% from the first cycle. Which scored the first cycle of 66.7%, in the second cycle of the scores obtained to 76.5% and included in both categories. According to predetermined criteria of success in the study there was clear improvement of learning outcomes, both in terms of a cognitive evaluation and learning activities of students and teachers. Thus demonstrating learning activities by implementing learning theory Gagne on material logarithm successfully improve student learning outcomes. Based on this study, it is advisable to conduct further research to create a learning activity that is expected to be cognitively active students to seek knowledge independently. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui implementasi teori belajar Gagne. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan alasan untuk mengkaji keadaan alamiah siswa ketika melakukan pembelajaran penerapan teori belajar Gagne. Kualitatif karena data yang digunakan berupa data verbal. Pendekatan ini diarahkan pada latar dan individu tersebut secara holistik atau menyeluruh yang menyangkut semua kegiatan yang dilakukan baik peneliti maupun obyek yang diteliti. Dari hasil analisis data hasil belajar siswa dari aspek kognitif pada siklus I dapat diketahui bahwa jumlah siswa yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 22 siswa (70,96%) dan pada siklus II jumlah siswa yang tuntas belajar meningkat menjadi 27 siswa (87,096%) dan memenuhi ketuntasan klasikal 85%. Adapun hasil evaluasi di akhir siklus menunjukkan adanya peningkatan 10,2%. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil pengamatan terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh siswa pada siklus I mencapai skor 65,9% dan pada siklus II menjadi 75%. Hal ini terjadi peningkatan yaitu sebesar 6,5% dan masuk dalam kategori baik. Untuk hasil lembar pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti pada siklus II berjalan dengan baik yaitu telah mencapai peningkatan 6,84% dari siklus pertama. Yang mana siklus pertama memperoleh skor 66,7%, pada siklus kedua skor yang diperoleh menjadi 76,5% dan termasuk dalam kategori baik. Sesuai dengan kriteria keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan dalam penelitian terlihat jelas adanya peningkatan hasil belajar, baik dalam hal kognitif berupa hasil evaluasi maupun aktivitas kegiatan belajar siswa dan guru. Dengan demikian menunjukkan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan mengimplementasikan teori belajar Gagne pada materi logaritma berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
