IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN STUDENT FACILITATOR AND EXPLAINING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATERI PERSAMAAN LINIER SATU VARIABEL

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran berlangsung sebagai suatu proses saling mempengaruhi antara guru dan siswa. Pembelajaran dikatakan berhasil dan berkualitas apabila seluruhnya atau setidak-tidaknya sebagian besar peserta didik terlibat secara aktif. Salah satu materi pada kelas VII SMP adalah Persamaan Linier Satu Variabel. Siswa masih kesulitan dalam menentukan bentuk setara suatu persamaan linier satu variabel dan juga siswa masih belum tepat dalam menyelesaikan suatu persamaan linier satu variable. Kebanyakan siswa cenderung tidak bersedia ketika diminta untuk mengerjakan soal di depan kelas dan menjelaskan kepada teman-temannya karena tidak percaya diri dengan kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran student facilitator and explaining yang diharapkan dapat memotivasi siswa untuk belajar aktif sehingga dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : pembelajaran student facilitator and explaining, hasil belajar. Abstract: Learning is a process which gives influence between the teachers and the students. The learning can be successful and qualified if the whole or at least the majority of learners are actively involved. One of the subjects in class VII SMP is One Variable of Linear Equations. Students are still having difficulties in determining the equivalent form and also students are still not right to solve a linear equation of one variable. Most students are not ready when they are asked to do the task in front of the class and explain to their friends because they do not have any confident. The purpose of this research is to apply student facilitator and explaining learning model that is expected to motivate students to learn actively. Therefore, it can improve the student achievement.
