PENERAPAN METODE THE POWER OF TWO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BELAJAR KOLABORASI

Abstract

Abstrak: Prestasi belajar yang diperoleh siswa menunjukkan berhasil atau tidaknya kegiatan belajar siswa. Dengan menerapkan metode The Power of Two, siswa akan menjadi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran karena semua siswa diberi tanggung jawab dengan tugasnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS MA Al-Mujaddadiyyah Madiun tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan lembar angket. Analisis data untuk kemampuan belajar kolaborasi dan minat belajar siswa menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif, data kuantitatif dengan menghitung persentase siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Metode The Power Of Two dapat meningkatkan kemampuan balajar kolaborasi dan minat belajar siswa. Peningkatan kemampuan belajar kolaborasi siswa dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya jumlah siswa yang aktif pada siklus II, dan semakin baik nilai dari masing-masing aspek yang meliputi: berpendapat secara rasional, menerima pendapat dengan alasan yang benar, peduli terhadap kelompok, mengerjakan tugas dan membantu teman. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS MA Al- Mujaddadiyyah Madison school year 2011/2012. The data was collected using observation sheets and questionnaires sheet. Analysis of data for collaborative learning and student interest using descriptive qualitative analysis, quantitative data by calculating the percentage of first cycle and second cycle. The results showed that the use of Method The Power Of Two Study abroad can enhance collaboration and student interest. Improved student learning collaboration can be seen from the increasing number of students who are active in the second cycle, and the better the value of each of the aspects which include: Google rationally, accept the opinion of the right reasons, concerned about the group, do the work and help a friend.
