PENERAPAM MODEL ISU KONTROVERSIAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERFIKIR KREATIF MAHASISWA

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model isu kontroversial yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kreatif mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 22 mahasiswa prodi PPKn STKIP PGRI Blitar semester I tahun akademik 2013/ 2014. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisa datanya adalah kualitaif dan kuantitatif. Dari refleksi siklus I, II dan III dihasilkan temuan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model isu kontroversial dapat meningkatkan berfikir kreatif mahasiswa. Peningkatan berfikir kreatif dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 9,06%, dari siklus II ke siklus III sebesar 7,53%. Peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 20%, sikus II ke siklus III sebesar 15 %. Research subjects were 22 students Prodi PPKn STKIP PGRI Blitar first semester of the academic year 2013/2014. Data collection techniques using the test description and observation sheet. Qualitative data analysis technique is quantitative. Of reflection cycle I, II and III produced findings that learning model controversial issues can improve creative thinking of students. Increased creative thinking from the first cycle to the second cycle of 9.06%, from the second cycle to cycle III of 7.53%.
