Abstract

Abstrak : Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal matakuliah struktur aljabar merupakan salah satu matakuliah yang dianggap sulit oleh mahasiswa. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan mahasiswa dalam memahami materi perkuliahan bermacam-macam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar mahasiswa dalam matakuliah struktur Ajabar I. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes dan pedoman wawancara.. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tingkat kesulitan berdasarkan hasil tes belajar diperoleh hasil tingkat kesulitan sangat tinggi 2,94 %, tinggi, 23,53 %, rendah 58,82 % dan tingkat kesulitan rendah 0,15%. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 6 subjek Kesulitan yang dialami mahasiswa meliputi kesulitan dalam penggunaan prinsip dan kesulitan penggunaan konsep.
