PROFIL PEMAHAMAN MAHASISWA PADA MATERI GRUP SIKLIK BERORIENTASI PEMBELAJARAN MODEL PERAIHAN KONSEP

Abstract

Abstrak : Kegiatan merumuskan hipotesis dan analisis contoh pada model peraihan konsep dianggap sesuai untuk pembelajaran mahasiswa, Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini dilaksanakan di STKIP PGRI Blitar tahun akademik 2016/2017. Subjek penelitian 4 mahasiswa semester 6 offering B, dengan instrumen pengumpulan datanya adalah peneliti sendiri, tes, dan wawancara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan profil pemahaman mahasiwa dengan kemampuan akademik tinggi dan sedang pada materi grup siklik berorientasi pembelajaran model peraihan konsep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dengan kemampuan tinggi mampu menangkap makna informasi secara konsep dan prosedur, merumuskan hipotesis penyelesaian dari soal , dan melakukan analisis dengan menanyakan kembali kebenaran dari jawaban, serta mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan masalah yang berbeda. Namun, pada mahasiswa dengan kemampuan sedang hanya mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan masalah sejenis. Kata Kunci: Profil, Pemahaman, Model Peraihan Konsep Abstract : The activity of formulating hypotheses and sample analysis on the concept attainment model is considered appopriate for student learning. This descriptive qualitative research was carried out at STKIP PGRI Blitar 2016/2017 academic year. Research subjects 4 students in semester 6 offering B, with data collection instruments are their own researchers, tests, and interviews. The purpose of this study was to describe the profile of students understanding with high and medium academic ablities in the learning cyclic group material oriented concept attainment model. The results showed that students with high ability were able to capture the meaning of information in concept and procedure, formulate hypotheses of solution from problem, and conduct analysis by asking the truth return from answer, and able to solve problem with different problem. However, the students with moderate abilities are only able to solve problems with similar problems. Key Words: Profile, understanding, the concept attainment model
