PROFIL PENALARAN SISWA MTs AL MUSLIHUUN PADA MATERI PELUANG BERORIENTASIPENDEKATAN METAPHORICAL THINKING DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN MATEMATIS

Abstract

Abstrak: Salah satu masalah pokok dalam pembelajaran pada pendidikan formal (sekolah) dewasa ini adalah masih rendahnya tingkat penalaran siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan tidak banyak guru yang menuntut siswanya menggunakan kemampuan bernalarnya, sehingga kebanyakan dari siswa hanya menggunakan kemampuan kognitifnya dalam pembelajaran. Dengan pendekatan Metaphorical Thinking, peneliti berusaha menerapkan pendekatan ini agar siswa terlatih untuk menggunakan kemampuan bernalarnya sehingga mampu mengambil solusi dari suatu permasalahan dengan tepat. Sesuai dengan permasalahan diatas, maka tujuan penulis mengadakan penelitian ini adalah Mendeskripsikan Profil Penalaran Siswa MTs Al Muslihuun pada Materi Peluang Berorientasi Pendekatan Metaphorical Thinking Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Matematis. Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Metaphorical Thinking, Peluang, Profil Abstract: One of the main problems in formal education learning (school) today is still the low level of students' comprehension. It is because not many teachers demand that their students use their comprehension abilities, so most of the students only use their cognitive abilities in learning. With Metaphorical Thinking approach, the researcher tries to apply this approach so that the students are trained to use their comprehension ability, therefore they can take the solution of the problem correctly. In accordance with of the problem above, the purpose of the writer conducted this study is to Describe The Students’ Comprehension Profile of MTs Al Muslihuun on Opportunity Material that Oriented of Metaphorical Thinking Approach viewed from Mathematical Ability.
