Abstract

Abstrak: Ditemukan permasalahan pembelajaran di suatu kelas yakni 1) kurangnya keaktifan siswa, 2) motivasi belajar yang rendah, serta 3) kurangnya pemahaman terhadap suatu konsep. Lembar kerja siswa dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, explore dan applying dapat mengarahkan siswa untuk memahami suatu konsep, serta talk dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah menerapkan pembelajaran explore, applying, talk berbantu lembar kerja siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan instrumen penelitiannya adalah lembar observasi dan tes. Penerapan pembelajaran explore, applying, talk berbantu lembar kerja siswa dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahapan, yakni: 1) pembagian lembar kerja siswa yang sudah didesign menarik sesuai dengan sintaks explore, applying, talk sehingga siswa termotivasi untuk belajar; 2) tahap explore, yang mengajak siswa untuk berdiskusi/bertukar pengetahuan dengan anggota kelompoknya, sehingga terbangun pengetahuan baru; 3) tahap applying, yang mengajak siswa untuk mengimplementasikan pengetahuan yang telah dibangun pada tahap explore; dan 4) tahap talk, yang mengajak siswa untuk berperan aktif dalam menyampaikan pemikirannya. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, dapat ditunjukkan bahwa: 1) hasil observasi guru berada pada kategori sangat baik dan hasil observasi siswa berada pada kategori baik, serta 2) hasil tes secara klasikal sebesar 93,75% siswa dinyatakan telah tuntas dalam pembelajaran. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran explore, applying, talk berbantu lembar kerja siswa cocok/sesuai untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan pembelajaran di kelas tentang kurangnya keaktifan siswa, motivasi belajar yang rendah, serta kurangnya pemahaman terhadap suatu konsep. Kata Kunci: Penerapan, Explore Applying Talk, Lembar Kerja Siswa Abstract: Learning problems found in the classroom are; 1) lack of students activity, 2) low motivation to learn, and 3) lack of understanding of a concept. Student worksheets can increase students motivation, explore and applying can lead students to understand a concept, and talk can increase students activity. So the purpose of this research is to apply learning to explore, apply, and talk with the help of student worksheets. This type of research is classroom action research, with research instruments are observation sheets and tests. The application of learning explore, applying, and talk assisted by student worksheets is carried out in several stages, namely: 1) the distribution of student worksheets that have been designed to be interesting in accordance with the syntax of explore, applying, talk so that students are motivated to learn; 2) explore phase, which invites students to discuss / exchange knowledge with members of their groups, so new knowledge is built up; 3) applying stage, which invites students to implement the knowledge that has been built at the explore stage; and 4) the talk stage, which invites students to play an active role in conveying their thoughts. Based on the analysis conducted, it can be shown that: 1) the teacher's observation results are in the very good category and the students' observation results are in the good category, and 2) the classical test results of 93.75% of students have been declared complete in learning. So it can be concluded that the application of learning to explore, applying, and talk assisted by students' worksheets is suitable / appropriate to solve learning problems in class about lack of student activity, low learning motivation, and lack of understanding of a concept.
