ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA MAHASISWA BERDASARKAN TEORI APOS PADA MATERI ANUITAS DALAM MATA KULIAH MATEMATIKA KEUANGAN

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya pemahaman konsep matematika keuangan bagi mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Kampus Blitar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran kemampuan pemahaman konsep yang dimiliki mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika berdasarkan teory APOS. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan soal tes dan wawancara. Soal tes yang digunakan adalah empat soal esay yang menguji kemampuan mahasiswa dalam pemahaman materai anuitas. Dari hasil penelitian dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada mata kuliah matematika keuangan materi anuitas berdasarkan teori APOS belum optimal, mahasiswa mampu menguasai tahapan dengan baik hanya sampai tahap aksi, dan proses. Mahasiswa kurang memahami konsep dasar mata kuliah matematika keuangan dikarenakan mahasiswa hanya menghafal rumus dan mengetahui konsep dasar namun tidak dapat menerapkannya ketahap selanjutnya dan factor lainnya adalah kurangnya memperhatikan pelajaran saat dipelajari di sekolah sebelumnya, dan juga saat pembelajaran berlangsung di kelas. Kata Kunci: teori APOS, pemahaman konsep, anuitas Abstract: This research is motivated by the importance of understanding financial mathematics concepts for students of the mathematics education study program at PGRI Adi Buana University, Blitar Campus. The purpous of this study was to describe the concept understanding ability of students of the mathematics education study program based on the APOS Theory. Data collection techniques with test questions and interviews. The test questions used are 4 essay question that test student abilities in understanding the anuity material. From the result of research and data analysis, it can be conclude that the ablility to undersatand the concepts f students in the financial mathematics coourse of annuity material based on the APOS theory is not ptimal, students are able to master the stage well only up to student mathematics courses because student only memori formulas and know basic concepts but cannot apply them to the next stage and other factor are the lack of attention to lessons when studied in previous schools, and also when learning takes place in class.
