Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian mendeskripsikan kesalahan pembuktian tidak langsung pada matakuliah geometri dasar. Kesalahan dalam pembuktian tidak langsung ada beberapa tipe yaitu kesalahan pembuktian tanpa pengandaian, kesalahan dalam menentukan pengandaian, kesalahan dalam merujuk dasar pembuktian, kesalahan tanpa menyimpulkan, kesalahan penulisan simbol, kesalahan membuktikan berdasarkan gambar atau kasus, kesalahan penalaran logis, kesalahan dalam memahami soal, dan kesalahan pembuktian tak lengkap. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini 3 mahasiswa yang diambil dari kemampuan tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini subjek hanya menunjukan kesalahan dalam merujuk dasar pembuktian, kesalahan pembuktian tidak lengkap, kesalahan meujuk dasar dan kemampuan awal yang kurang Kata Kunci: pembuktian tidak lansung, geometri Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe indirect proof errors in basic geometry courses. There are several types of errors in indirect proof, namely errors in proving without presuppositions, errors in determining assumptions, errors in referring to the basis of proof, errors without concluding, errors in writing symbols, errors in proving based on pictures or cases, errors in logical reasoning, errors in understanding questions, and incomplete proof of error. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 3 students who were taken from high, medium and low abilities. The instruments of this research are tests and interviews. The results of this study showed that the subject only showed errors in referring to the basis of evidence, incomplete proof errors, errors in referring to basics and lack of initial ability Keywords: indirect proof, geometry
