Abstract
Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah pengembangan kognitif atau kemampuan intelektual mahasiswa semaksimal mungkin dengan basis pada perilaku sosial atau budaya. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif pada mahasiswa PPKn Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Kampus Blitar, hasilnya problematika dalam pembelajaran statistik dapat diatasi, dengan memberikan bantuan (Scaffolding ) pembelajaran berkelompok (kolaborasi) dengan berinteraksi sosial antar mahasiswa dan mahasiswa dengan dosennya, bimbingan individu, pemanfaatan teknologi, contoh praktis, dan pengembangan keterampilan metakognisi. Kata kunci: problematika, solusi, teori Vygotsky Abstract: The aim of the research is to develop students' cognitive or intellectual abilities to the maximum extent possible on the basis of social or cultural behavior. The research was conducted qualitatively on PPKn students at PGRI Adi Buana University, Blitar Campus, the results of the problems in learning statistics can be overcome, by providing assistance (scaffolding) in group learning (collaboration) with social interaction between students and students with their lecturers, individual guidance, use of technology, examples practical, and the development of metacognitive skills.
